Our story

We built Freedom because the old way was breaking brands.

Sourcing agents play hide-and-seek with price. 3PLs force you to bet the business on pallet orders. Nobody in the stack actually cares whether you grow. We built Freedom to fix all three — and tie a growth team to the supply chain, so the people sourcing your products are also the people helping you scale.

Why Freedom exists

Every founder we knew had the same story. They’d find a product, build a store, pour cash into ads, and then hit the wall: a sourcing agent who’d quietly marked up their COGS, a 3PL demanding a six-figure pre-buy, a factory that ghosted them mid-quarter. At the exact moment the business should have been pouring rocket fuel into acquisition, it was pouring it into cardboard.

We knew the answer because we’d built it internally for our own brands — an operator-grade supply chain stack, held together by AI sourcing, Yun fulfilment, and a team of people who actually cared. Freedom is that stack, opened up to the founders we respect.

“The goal isn’t to be the best supply chain partner. It’s to be the last supply chain call our partners ever need to make.”

What we believe

Everything we build is pointed at one thing: removing friction between a dollar earned and the next dollar of growth it fuels. If a process on our side slows that loop down, we kill it. If a feature doesn’t free up capital or time, it doesn’t ship. That’s the whole product philosophy.

Speed as a principle

If we can shave a day off a lead time, we do it. If we can save you a week of coordination with a supplier, we do it. Speed compounds.

Transparency over margin

Every cost is visible down to the order line. We don’t hide mark-ups inside COGS. If we earn a margin, it’s disclosed.

Operators, not account managers

Our team has run brands, spent on Meta, lost money on bad factories. They help you make decisions, not just process your orders.

The timeline

2023
Internal build. Our own AU e-commerce brand hits A$14M revenue on a hand-rolled version of what would become Freedom. Zero warehouse, zero pre-buy, 26% net margin.
Early 2024
First external partner onboarded. Pet and home brand scales from A$80K/mo to A$900K/mo inside twelve months. The proof of concept.
Late 2024
Freedom team expands to a dedicated sourcing desk in Shenzhen, growth operators in AU, and an engineering team building the AI sourcing layer.
2025
Partner fleet crosses A$30M cumulative revenue. UK and US express lanes live. Custom packaging held at supplier edge becomes standard.
2026 →
Freedom Fulfilment FZC spun out as its own entity. Currently onboarding a small number of A$1M+/month brands per quarter. Not trying to be a mass-market 3PL — we’re trying to be the last partner our brands ever switch.

Who you’ll actually work with

Freedom runs intentionally small on the operator side. Every partner gets a named operator who owns your account end-to-end. Here’s the core team you’ll interact with:

J

Josh

Head of Freedom Fulfilment
Runs the FF division end-to-end. Based between Bali and the sourcing desk in Shenzhen. Spent the last four years building direct-to-consumer brands — which is why our supply chain feels like it was designed by someone who’s lost money on a bad pallet order. Because he has.
A

Austin

Platform & strategy
Architect of the Freedom platform. Builds the systems, the AI sourcing layer, and the intelligence dashboards our partners live in. Austin sits inside the weekly growth reviews for larger partners and runs the Inner Circle operator programme.
P

Peter & the sourcing desk

Sourcing lead, Shenzhen
Peter heads up our on-the-ground sourcing team. Decades of factory relationships, the muscle memory of knowing who’ll flake and who’ll deliver, and the discipline to never let a sample skip QC. Your unit doesn’t move without his team signing off.

Where we’re headed

Freedom Fulfilment is one slice of a bigger machine — a vertically integrated stack across sourcing, fulfilment, payments, and consulting, built for the next decade of AU e-commerce. If you’re a founder reading this and thinking “this is the partner I’ve been missing”, that’s the idea. Apply. Let’s build.
